Hey jzx members, i have been lurking this forum FOREVER. My boy Ofc Dangle, aka SHAWN, is an active member here building his very own cressida. I know its becoming quite the bandwagon to hop on, but here i am. I have the utmost respect for the og's but i am done with... yep you guessed it 240's.... anyway im here to say wassup and dip into some four doors...


I am from Southern Florida, to be specific Boynton Beach, about 6 miles south of West Palm Beach. I have been into drifting for a good 2.5 years, and im just tired of the same old same old S-Chassis... anyway, Im 20 years old, a hefty mutha trucka and looking at a cress tomorrow.

thanks for the welcome, i have come across a few good deals some rustier than others, but hey im not new to rust so i will let that variable slip past me.


and to chrisSOL its not very often im taking pictures of myself in front of my car... but i will upload one tomorrow morning...

SKINNY D = my forum name for almost 3 years now, (the nickname SKINNY came about at my work just out of the blue, being that i am 6'4 and 290lbs, my boss called me skinny and then it spread to my friends and has now preceded me for a very long time) so skinny is my usual nickname... other wise the oldest friends call me DJ.

ANYONE FROM FLORIDA, im not used to a widespread forum, sfldrifters is my home and its such a tight nit community i know how some of you feel when people like me join.... i hope that you all can lead me in the right direction so that i may turn this cress project into a monster! thanks

mo, im not sure as to what paid trip means, but it sounds really cool. (if its not a noob joke) anyway, this cress im looking at is rebuilt 7m (with no receipts lol my ass) and the tranny is slipping. interior is PERFECT, its so nice it will be hard to get rid of it lol, and there is practically no rust! i really like the car and will soon make a nice little build thread. my guy jerry at boost lab is hooking me up with a 1j and r154 for less than 2 (lets put it that way) and im using my s13 suspension on it... i also have mb battles??? lol, i hope they look good or im ditching them for some weds kranze (yes i know a huge stepup from battles) but i would rather have 10 track wheels than 4 street wheels nahmean.... SO FAR i have the welcomes have been nice and i really appreciate the hospitality...

s13 on a cress is a joke. You will find that out very very soon. Save yourself the headache and added expense and just go with some X83 designed coilovers. There is many used X81 suspension bits here and there and Megan and Serialnine both offer good Cressida specific coilovers.

thanks mo, i will probably just sell my coilovers than as i have an offer for 900 lol, you can get the stance gr+ for like 1100 new so im gunna jump at that... lol, and to bradlee, how much do you want is gunna be the deciding factor. send some pics and info i would be glad to take a look!
