it was the only cressida i could find with in 200 miles from des moines so i got it, but its soon to change with eather a 1ggte, 1j, or 7mgte w/o a bhg swap. then the paint and body work ill keep all posted.

as of right now im just playing the saving game so its been sitting till i get my civic done which is very soon.

i feel sorry for you guys in the rust belt who can't find a decent chassis to work with but still sink tons of money into it.

how good are you at rust repair? get good at cutting and welding new metal in, coating it with POR15 and praying. Sell your civic, you don't need it anymore. Use the money to buy a 1jz or 2jz or a 1uz, dont even bother fucking with anything else.

steal some kid's bike to get to and from work. pick up an evening job somewhere that has a shop you can use after they close, or let the auto shop teacher at the community college play with your butthole so you can use theirs. stitch weld the important parts of your body.

steal some centerlines from a foxbody mustang and sell your TV and vidya games to buy a decent suspension. while you're at it, sell all the rest of your shit too, just start living in the car. chop up your neighbor's kids' swingset with a torch and make a cage.

ditch all the interior, use the seats as living room furniture out in the woods or behind the shop where you now live. replace the dash and console with metal plate, toggle switches and led's.

at this point you should probably be working 2 jobs full time and saving whatever you can. now you can afford to find a nice turbo, if you can't just steal a holset from someone's dodge or maybe a forklift. fab your own manifolds and IC piping, make a vertical slash cut screamer pipe with a flapper sticking straight out of the hood. the exhaust should dump just in front of the rear wheel.

paint the car Caterpillar yellow leaving the black body stripe intact, attach a large scoop style lip spoiler to the front.

^ Iknorite. I've walked away from buying cars before because it's more than 8-10 yrs. old and has IL/MN/IA/SD/ND/etc. in the registration history.

My suggestion is to get rid of that however you can, and drive waaayyyy south to find a good chassis. Then garage it and never drive it in the winter.

sorry for the long delay in posting my internet was down for some time.

the header is a TRD unit.
i know about the rust and yes im going to fix it.
im thinking about going 5m turbo with a 7mgte setup or go 7m or 1j (idk yet).
im doing a 5 speed conver with welded diff.
