Put in the white wheel and NRG quick release

Posted Image

Wasn't too down with the white mirrors, so I resprayed them and kept a little white around the edge.

Posted Image

Spoilerless while I gave it a respray

Put in some new speakers today to replace the 20 year old blown paper cups I had. Sounds cool.

Had it out drifting Wednesday. This car is so much fun on the track even while bottoming out my blown coils. It took me a little while to get used to the weight/size/power. I haven't seen any action pics up yet though.
I'm planning on driving in DMCC Pro Am in Edmonton on the weekend so hopefully I'll have some action shots from then.

How it sits as of today

Had a wicked time at DMCC this weekend! Ended up finishing in the top 8, which I'm pretty happy with since it was my 2nd time on the track with this car. Having power is cool. Blown coilovers not so much.

Met shawley too. Super nice guy, gave me sweet neon sunglasses.

Video coming soon. Got some cool pocketbike+go pro footage

Oops. Bent some stuff on Wednesday after dropping a wheel

Found some cool shots of my stuff not drifting while I was trying to bash it back straight enough to drive home

Fixed it in time for some more drifting Friday. There was a movie being filmed and they needed drifting in it, which meant free track time!

and girls!

and free pizza and drinks. and wheelchair wheelie jams

and drifting! and no helmets!

At one point I literally had the whole track to myself for a good 45 minutes. It was way too much fun.

Since there's not much building in this build thread here's more drifting

Here's a vid I put together of me and friends from Edmonton DMCC Pro Am.

My coilovers are so blown its like trying to drive a bouncy castle down the street. I NEED S9 coils like yesterday.

Other news, tryed on a friend's wheels today.

First up, 18x10 +38. No good, still sunk.

Sooo, put that one on the front with a 5mm slip on making it 18x10 +33 effective. Still hit the coilover though.

Put a 18x12 +26 on the back. Would have looked cool if my car was lower. I cant drop it anymore thanks to the blown coilovers bottoming out.

UNHH makes me want 18's so bad. Lower and maybe some camber adjustment and I think they would look rad.

Back to reality where I have 17's and hard park at gas stations.

I am just gonna go out on a limb and say it.

The fitment with those 18's is freaking stupid, and I wish people would stop putting that shit on their cars.

no need to quote bwcress.
I have to agree with foompla. way to mexi flush for me. I am a fan of aggressive wheels and all but that seems kinda overkill. How big of a tire can you run on that with stock body?
