I would suggest going to Frye's or something similar and investing in a camera and vcr, or camera run to your computer. That shit's cheap these days, a lot cheaper than a car. Now more than ever since these shit boxes are getting so much attention. A hidden fuel pump cut switch is also awesomeo fantastic in preventing theft. That'd be your cheapest option.

Or if you have lots of spare time and a gun you could hang around until they come back and blow some holes in them. The camera is probably a better solution tho.

tHE KILL SWITCH ON MY OLD PICKUP WAS THE HIGH BEAM SWITCH ( PULL BACK THE HIGH BEAM AND TURN KEY).
JUST WEIRD WHEN SOME ONE WAS PARKED DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME . They would stare at me like why is this m/f high beamin me.
But the kill switch was a perfect plain in sight set up. No one would ever think about it .

well yea i think the only reason the car is still at my house is because of the special process i setup on the car to start it.
They pried the door open, busted the fuse box (floor driver side) and broke the ignition stuff... looks like they tried jamming a screwdriver in the ignition to start it.
but could start it! awesome little switch saved my baby! =)
7mx63 - that immobilizer is awesome! thanks i'm going to look into building one for all my cars!

this is exactly what i have planned for when the cressida has to sit outside (for some reason a beat up supra attracts a shit ton of attention from random passerbyers).
that's how my project daily supra became immobilized in the first place. first, some dudes broke windows of some of the cars in the shop lot. second time around, they went in and nabbed whatever they could with basic tools. one car was ghetto-jacked onto a steel spare, but they couldn't jack the volk's because it had security lug nuts
came back to find the supra had a broken window, a missing intake pipe (had a bov on it), and aeromotive brick fpr stolen off it. fuel door was fucked with (although there is a fuel door release in the cabin they JUST broke into?). luckily for most of the cars, nothing of high value or hard to replace items were stolen. some of the shop cars had brand new parts sitting inside, or in the engine bay. for the most part they took random shiny bits that were (presumably) easy to sell
only one other car had shit stolen off it, and they were just stock MKIV wheels.
that night we staked out after moving ALL of the cars to a different location, and sure enough, a couple blacked out hondas showed up to an empty lot, drove around for a bit, and took off at first sight of anyone there.

camera caught glimpse of the vehicle, but it was mounted on the far side of building so no one was caught. it wasn't our camera, but the camera of the body shop that was next door to us at the time. they supposedly caught the guys who broke their windows (red-handed actually), as these idiots were fucking around with the customer cars outside in need of repair..
the doods that got caught i heard were supposedly just kids, and only broke the windows from what i heard (vandalism but no theft). doubt they were the same doods who messed with our cars... as that camera is in plain sight lol, and on a lit portion of the warehouse wall. cars that got shit jacked were on the far side, mostly behind another warehouse, out of view of the camera.

Dude. where i work at sometimes, a neighboring shops SC300 drift car that was parked outside overnight had the AEM EMS, sparco seat, aluminum radiator, and carbon trunk stolen. Our shops cameras caught the car that rolled in looking around but license plate was kinda blurry.
Shit, i get a bit paranoid leaving my cressida parked in the street at night when i had to thinkin someones gonna try to steal it for the wheels or stereo. Im gonna do up that immobilizer later on. Thieves can suck my balls.

I park my baby in front of my house like two feet away from my window , the same window that nevers closes and due to other burglurys in the neighborhood , pops bought a 16 channel digital video recorder, internet acces , and six external night vision cameras and three mics all around the house.
Basically the same system we got at are shop but a way lot less cameras.
I wish a motherfucker would try some shit , i'll be shoving my 9mm down his fuck neck while wearing boxers and black low cut socks, i would drag the mo into my house and would end up smashing some cranium all over my living room . Tell the cops he rushed me inside my house ,and it was all in self defense....
This is what i would do, show dat mo no mercy.
