Thank you. And actually, through browsing these forums, I came across a post saying you could do 1jz+mx83 wiring? Is this true?

Nah those emblems dont need to be shaved they aren't permanent. I just removed the emblem as a whole and left the cressida logo. Don't want people thinking its an old Corolla or somethin. It's a cressida! It's a 7M-GE just well taken care of for a 20 year old engine. Either way it's not as mint condition anymore which is why a 1JZ sits in my garage being restored.

I dont have any pics of the build yet. I'm doin this by myself and my only camera is my phone. I don't want to get oil and crap all over my iphone! I'll take pictures before I start workin on it tomorrow. I'll probably be going with S9 coilovers and 17" idkwhats with +idkwhatoffset. I'll figure that out after I get this JZ alive. For now I'm trying to figure out what to do about the harness. I can't seem to get in contact with Guy Smiley or Aphxero (Mark, right?). I'll keep everyone posted

So I got a nice little check and I bought the rest of what I need except a 91 7MGE Cressida Harness. My cress is my daily so I don't want to pull the harness if I don't have to. As soon as I can get another 7M harness in my hands I'll be sending it out with the JZ harness to be converted. Either way with the parts bought and a few more tools purchased I was able to make some more progress.

Goodbye old 1JZ Hydraulic pump

Hello 2JZ shiny pump!

Well with that done next is front seal, then cam seals, then timing belt. I need to go to the store to buy star shaped bolts, an air compressor, air impact gun, air die grinder, cut off wheels, hose, etc. Then ill be able to mount my clutch pedal, mod the bumper for the FMIC, take off my flywheel to have resurfaced, and change my rear main seal. I have oil buildup all over the Power Steering and A/C housings as well. Anyone know of a common culprit?
