N/A 2j on 7mgte electronics wont rev (video)

right now im not sure whats up with my car. the car idles perfect and im not throwing any codes but once i hit the gas pedal like a 1/4 of the way it just want to shut off. im thinking it might be the tps (waiting on getting a volt meter from a friend to see if its set right or not) i also have friend that says i should put a walbro 255 (i will sooner or later) in it because i might be running too lean (i have the stock cressida pump right now and im about ot do the 12volt mod). i figured i would post to if anyone else had any ideas on what it could be. im not sure if im over looking something and it just something dumb wrong with it.

heres a little back round on the set up
7mgte ecu
mk3 440cc injectors
7mgte coils
7mgte cps
7mgte afm
7mgte sensors (knock, coolant, oil, ect)
20mm(?) spark plug wires (i cant remember what size my buddy said they were)
egr removed
removed actuator for butterfly in the intake plenum (always closed now)
i cant remember if thats everything because im half asleep right now

hurry up and check the tps already. It's probably backwards or pinned wrong

swap MAF if you have a spare to use real quick. if that's not it, sounds like TPS.

i just got a new maf because the last one was broken and made my car throw a code 24. i replaced the old one and now im not throwing any codes so im pretty sure its not that

could the timing make my car do this (im going to see if its set right or not tonight)

update!!!

i installed the tps got rid of the code 51 so im not throwing any codes. its still has the reving problem and it idles worse then it did before. so im guessing that theres either a vacuum leak some were or my timing is off. any ideas

edit: im also going to check my plugs and see if there still good because it was running really rich in limp mode

what about running a 2j on 2j electronics? not all afm's, sensors's, and pcm's are the same, thats just my opinion, i could be wrong.

if you want to send me a n/a 2jz harness that wired up for a cressida and all the sensors, injectors, and ecu then i will be more then happy too but this was the "easier route" . all im having are dumb little problems. plus the 7mgte electronics on a n/a 2j is well documented. so i figured bigger injectors, no distributor to get in the way of a turbo, and a ecu thats made for a boosted motor was better in the long run for after i boost it.

no not yet i have tried 3 different afms all off running cars and it still dose it so im thinking it might be the wiring. im trying to get money together so i can get megasquirt

try your B3 connector, there are two cables... a solid green, and a white/black
connect them and see what happens...
its a switch for the air flow meter, i had the same exact problem and it worked just fine after that:)

My guess is the resistor are you running the injector resistor from the 7m-gte , also just ground the green fuel control wire and don't use the 7m-gte ecu to control fuel pump at all . If the fuel control was your problem it would start and than stall after a second or two when the fuel control relay switched from 9 to 12 volts . I have wanted to try this swap for a long time as I have a lot of old 7m-gte shit laying around and I will never build another 7m . Good luck

yeah i would love to run the 7mgte stuff but i think the problem is that the harness i got is junk. so i said fuck it so now im looking to buy all the 2jzge stuff or run the megasquirt i have sitting here(if i can afford everything to do a 5speed swap)
