So I wired the car exactly like the drunken wiring and the thing will not start I swapped parts with my supra and my supra starts but not the cressida I checked for continuity on the crank censors and everything has power that's suppose to have power and the car still will not start so I am stumpt. I have been going over diagrams and everything on the forum and checked and double checked my wiring and it still will not start. I am going to run the car with an auto so if anyone has any advice or picture of the bare minimum wires I would really appreciate that if not I will have to take my car to 935 so that rob can look at it

Sounds like a problem with your Main Relay circuit (MRel). Double check the IGSW 7.5amp fuse under the dash and make sure you have power to the injectors/coils.

^this

And sometimes shitty x90 ecu wont trigger mrel even with igsw input. In that case just do key on like the older cars. Just cut the mrel wire by the ecu and tie it into the igsw wire.

I have 12 volts to the injectors and the coils and 11.5 to mrel and I checked it when it was cranking and it only dropped to 10 volts. I have a chaser harness that I am about to extend but I have no ecu. You guys have any other ideas that I could try out

Check out your crank angle sensor and cam angle sensors make sure they are plugged in and check the shielding for these three sensors for ground .
Good luck

I checked all these sencors and they are all good I don't know what I am doing wrong. Coils and injectors get their power from that plug next to the fuse box by the battery I jump the fuel pump from the ignition source in the engine bay all my connectors are on. I know the ignitor and the ecu work cause I checked them on my supra whick had a 1j I just don't know what is wrong with the car, it has power to everthing and still no start, I have to be missing something like a neutral safety wire or something. I will keep plugging at it.

Have you tried starting it with starting fluid? Go simple on your approach and you will find a simple answer.

So I still could not get the car started but I am not giving up yet I am going to install a 2jzgte wiring harness and computer and see if its the harness that is bad cause everything else works on the car and that seems to be the only conclusion.
I figure since the 1j and the 2j share the same censors the harness should be easy to install

So i replace the jzx90 harness with a harness out of a chaser and the same thing happened so tomarrow i am going to go thru the motor to see if i did something wrong. I have 12 volts to the coils and the injectors but i dont know if the injectors or the coiled are getting a pulse so i am going to find a diode light to see if there are any type of pulse from the injectors or the coils.

What ecu are you running and are you sure it's good? Also, are you sure the harness is pinned for the e u you're using? Because if it's not, you'll have power, just no signal.

Well i think i will have to repin the plugs going into the ecu cause i am using a jza70 ecu with the extra pigtail on a chaser harness cause i was told it should just be a plug and play but i am going to check out the schematics when i get off work. I know the ecu is good, I rode in the supra that it came out of.

Time to find some pinouts, but if it was me I'd start pretty much from scratch. Cut every thing open, trace, label, so on... Good luck

Still no change i checked all my wires and the are all going to where they need to be, i am just stumpt about the wiring of this car, i was also wondering if the auto tranny computer sends a signal to the ecu to tell it to send a pulse to the injectors and the coils cause i checked for voltage and everything and there is just power going in but no pulse from the ecu but i know the ecu works because it came out of my friends car when he swapped from a 1 to a 2j there is got to be something that i am not hookinh up because i have followed the wiring to a T and still nothing and i am even using a harness that the only mod on it is the extention. If you guys have any input or went thru this dilema please write me your inputs thanx
