finally got one. I was starting to think it'd be a year before I could jump into 240s. I'm glad I kept my rims.

picked it up a few days ago for $400... not running, but it is a 5spd and a 4dr. I'm happy. I've got the DD/pickup and the cool sedan project.



sorry to post it on this forum, but this place is my car place still. I'm still up in the air about engine swap and suspension. I may do a 2JZGE or a 5.0 ...gonna research suspension options... may go with Serialnine again.

again forgive me but at least I kept it 4 doors and similar flavor. And I had enough sense to not put it in showoffs forum.

! I've always had a spft spot for those. You shoulda kept the stances! Bet you coulda made em work for cheap! I'd be looking at somethiong similar to the t3 coilover conversion, and 5.0 parts are on the cheap these days. I say super bad ass!

I know.......................... It's just a complicated life thing that brought it to an end. I'll always regret it. I think that my X8 could have been the most badass... bar Gerard's. I was just too noob to cars and certain things in life to keep it. I fucked up big time building it. I look back at photos and I'm so .... damn, badass. I also wasn't going to be a big drift guy and that kinda made my X8 half purposeful. This car is just gonna be my cool all aournd/slightly impractical car till I can build my ratrod to end all ratrods. Still.. regret regret regret. The cress was supposed to be that car. ...too little knowledge with too much balls. My X8 had nearly everything an X8 could hope for.... regret regret regret.

The last V8 swapped volvo wagon I saw was at an autocross event just after I got my Cress. It was caged, driven by an old man and retardedly slow. It was the only slower car that day than my 100% bone stock autotragic X7 with shitty 25 year old suspension and shit tires. One or Two Jay Zee... Do it!
