Olympus is holding a competition where you submit a proposal video to them explaining what you want to shoot/film and if chosen in the top six they give you $5000 and an Olympus PEN digital camera to film it with.

My friends and I have been wanting to get $500 dollar or less beater cars and travel from Tennessee to California while stopping at major automotive racing locations as well as grass roots events where we want to get film coverage and photos. Places like VIR, Pikes Peak etc.. We want to show case mostly the grass roots side of automotive racing. Anything from auto-x, to HPDEs, to drifting and rally. We want to even enter what events we can and film everything.

On top of all that we plan on staying off interstates as much as possible, using mostly back roads.
