Hey been lurking on here for a while and finally pick up a 91 Cressida... i have the basic plan for her jz swap suspension im not looking for crazy power just something with 300 or so thats reliable (aka not a 7m lol) ive been around supra for a while now so this is the natural option for me (i like 4 doors). I did alittle suspension work today i know its not the right way but i just couldnt stand the monster truck ride height anymore so i threw in some s14 lowering springs and a set of avs model 6's i had laying around i hope you guys approve lol here is alittle before and after

Here is what she looked like when i got her

And this is after today

That picture angle sucks worse than pyrogearhead, but not as bad as rob. But from what I can see it's way better than it was stock. Post up some better pics.

I think I might have to do the s14 springs on my other cress just to keep the ride smooth enough for daily driving. Your car looks pretty decent on the springs.

My avs are 16x8 +11 all around I wish I had them in your size so I could get alittle wider tire out back all I can fit right now are 195s which are doodie lol. But just a small update the 7m blew so its jz time just pick up a really clean jzx90 motor set I've got it on a stand in my shop now cleaning everything up just waiting for my harness and parts and it will be in after that onto supsension and nicer wheels ;-)

Funny how s14 springs work so well on these cars. What's the weight difference between the Cressida and an s14?

195's! hahaa damn son.

Looks good so far. I recommend pressure washing the shit out of the engine bay when you do the swap. It makes everything so much better, you wont regret it. Just make sure you plug whatever holes you have going into the car lol

Good luck, start a build thread.

^^^^wow guy those s14 springs are good for one thing only . dropping yo cressida.

But ride quality suck mega dick.

Invest on a real suspension, dont waste your time with bullshit springs.

The AVS look cool.
