Anyone have any experience on this? I need 1/8 stainless water jetted for a logo, but the only places I can find on the interwebs either have no pricing information or are trying to sell complete wateretting setups. I just want a place where I can get this shit done and pay for it.

One of my customers was talking about setting a water jet machine up, I'll ask when he comes to get his parts. Only bad thing is he's here in Texas.

The thing that sucks about most places is volume.

They'll do 1 piece for $100, but two is $110, 3 is $115, etc.

They want to run the machine as long as possible without changeovers to maximize cost.

Small businesses are a bit better than larger companies though. With this economy I have heard some places are starting to take on smaller run jobs just to keep the lights on.

Not a thread jack at all. Weir is a great resource.

I'm willing to spend some money on this stuff because I know quality doesn't usually come cheap and they're going to be somewhat of a showpiece for a project.

I'm willing to ship pieces in from out of state. The main problem is finding someone local who will do it within my budget. There are 2 places within driving distance for me, but if neither of them work out I may as well expand my search nationwide.

Kyle - if you can ask him for me that would be amazing. Does he have a time frame or price in mind? Thanks!

No time frame that I'm aware of, but I will still ask. I work for my family in an anodizing shop, so we deal with a lot of machine shops and it's quite possible someone else has a set up I was unaware of. If I can find someone I'll pass along the info. I just bought a nice fitting piece off of Gordon ( Duax Machine) that looks to be water jetted mild steel, he might be able to turn you onto someone that could turn out stainless, don't know if that could help.
