Has anyone had any success with this mod? > http://forums.celicasupra.com/showthread.php?t=39419 Or are their newer better ways currently available?

I'm pretty sure the idea is that you can get crazy low without having eleventybillion degrees of negative camber on the rear. That way you can keep more than an inch of tread on the ground.

Toysport and 935 Motorsports suck. Don't buy from either.

It's a pretty involved mod; if I can get a rear subframe for my X6 at the junkyard I will probably give it a try.
The price they want for those pieces is retarded though; I can mill out a piece of steel pretty damn easy to match what they have in a few minutes.
I would rather build a new rear subeframe though, to relocate the trailing arms inside more so 10" wide wheels fit without having to pull the fender.
Of course, I always do things the hard way.

i did it on my car, its pretty straight forward, but you have to reinforce what they give you with gussets and shit. my car is on monster truck 245/45/18's tucked to rim with maybe .5 degree of camber. For drifting this mod is way way worth it cause you use the whole tire versus using 1/4 of the tread.

Hey rob so you got a pretty large ammount of adjustability or a small ammount but enough to get it close to 0 with fat rims

I got allot of correction Ive had it as low as i can go with out notching the frame rail and maybe had a lil over 1 degree, its totally worth it. Downside is without camber you got to be way pickier with rim size, unless you do extensive fender work.
what i got- 18x10 ssr D5R? 23ish offset, with a 245 45 i have it tucked to rim i can maybe go down another 1 1/2 but id have no more compression travel with out notching the frame.
like this i have maybe .5 degees of rear camber, the inner fender is pulled to the point i actually rolled the material behind the rear door. it rubs with my +20 18x10 wheels till all the lettering on the sidewall is gone. of course i could run 235-245 35's but 245 40s are cheaper.
Foompla- sorry for late reply. i dont own a computer haha, anyway yeah they helped for sure. it sinks the subframe into the car about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch so thats 1/2 or so less your suspension is actually being lowered. other than the fact x7 bushings blow dogs for quarters once you put real power at them.
