Hi. I am planning to buy a Mark II/Chaser/Cresta X70 in the near future. I don't intend to use it for drifting, just for everyday driving. I have a few questions: what engines did the factory install into this car (by model), and what kind of suspension does it have (as in what other car is the X70's suspension interchangable with, if i were to install a different suspension)? Maybe i will stick a JZ engine under the hood, but those are distant plans. At any rate, my main questions would be: was the 1G engine used in the X70 and which Toyota model is the suspension interchangable with? I would be glad to hear any information.
Help! Need info about X70 engines and suspension

Wow, everyone is so mean to this guy!
He's just asking the simplest, most basic of questions that thirty seconds on wikipedia could solve. Instead he chose to take the time to register on our forum, activate his account and then type up this post. We totally owe it to him to answer all his questions as quickly and completely as possible, with no pre-conceived notions about his motivations or intentions.
I have carefully researched your query and after much research and distillation, I have found a post which best answers all of your questions in a manner which is more becoming of a specialty forum as we are.
Please, use the info obtained from here wisely.
