Awesome. To be honest I thought SuperStreet was a thing of the past. I haven't seen any issues of it at any of the corner stores I frequent in at least a year or more. Good to see some publicity for the site and for Serialnine.

superstreet has EGGMAN(charles) writing for them,he had a decent x7 for a while then parted it out...or sold it to a friend,i dont remember. He wants to do a write for my x6 once the motor is in.hmmm dunno if i should now.

Whatever.


This is ALL good. How many people in this thread have their car to where they want it or even have it running. All this means is people will buy them and then sell them because it's not as easy as a 240. We love these cars and I can't count how many times I wanted to sell mine even after it was done! These will have to be shop built and labor will probably average $5000 and up. More aftermarket will surface but these cars will always have a stigma attached concerning getting the thing even running.

If there's a market, there will be companies offering plug and play harnesses for the Cressida. Daft Innovations already offers a plug and play LSx harness for the x8 so the "stigma" is an overstatement. Dropping a jz in a cress isn't any harder than replacing a M motor. 7mx63 and others are already making jzx motormount replicas and wiring with patience takes a few days the most if your taking 5hr lunch breaks. It all boils down to how much money you willing to plunk down for the conversion and how much time you got to dedicated towards it.
