Well i searched and didnt find anything, but I was wondering if a 83 radiator is the same as the 73?

I have seen a few of both, but I have never really looked at them. The only reason I am asking is because on the trip back from Cali with my car I screwed the radiator up pretty bad with debris, and a few other things and there is a 83 at the junk yard with a good radiator....

well to make a long story short, it runs around 200 degrees now when it was running closer to 170 before when on the same road, and running near the same speed. I have tried to use an old radiator fin straighter tool that my dad had but its just too bad, i think the tire that hit the front of the car really did the most damage to it.

Anyways, let me know, I just dont want to take it off and then need to start to piece things together to make it work

THANKS

will it physically fit int he same spot? of will I need to fab up a few things? i am fine getting and hacking a different radiator hose up, but I just didnt want to have to make brackets to hold the thing in place and cups for it to sit in if I didnt have to.

THANKS

Your going to have to modify the X73 Fan Shroud if you plan on keeping that thing.

eahh thats something minor. As long as it will mount up im good. Honestly, worst case I will just use a set of aftermarket fans that I have sitting around from my old S2000.
