Hi guys, not sure if I'm posting this in the right section. I have an s14 that has had a KA-T setup and I am now swapping in a 1jz. I was wondering if I can reach 300whp with full exhaust, intake, fmic, and boosting to like 1 bar while keeping the stock ecu and stock injectors? Will i need any type of fuel managment to achieve this goal? I have an SAFCII that will get hooked up and my s14 already has a walbro fuel pump in it. If I boost that much, will it hit fuel cut? I could also get some 440cc injectors and an FCD but I don't know if I will need these. Let me know what else I might need on my setup. I am new to these motors and every forum I go to has mixed opinions about being able to reach the 300whp mark on a stock 1j.

just run a FCD with 1bar, FMIC, stock injectors, stock ecu and you'll be over 300whp. That is all.

Really? That would be sweet. The stock ecu was my biggest concern. Does it control timing as it sees more boost? Or do I not have to worry about that? And also, won't the FCD make it lean out above 14psi? So I shouldnt I have the safcII to correct this?

And what is a safe AFR to run at WOT while boosting 1 bar? On my ka, anything above 12 was dangerously lean. And 14-16 was good for cruising

I know it's a cressida forum. I bought my 1j from here and it seems like people on here really know their stuff when it comes to these motors so I figured I would ask on here. And I will try to do some searching.

Stock ecu is mapped to 1.5 bar boost. So get rid of boost cut ok?

But you'll probably run out of injector. Maximizing the stock ecu is easy though. The recipe is as follows:
Safc2
550cc
-15% everywhere to start off. Then tune according to your fuel supply.

Any more than this you need a real ecu.

Ok, I'll try to find some 550's but I can get some 440cc for $100 shipped so maybe I will do that. So anybody have an HKS fcd they want to sell me?

Not a f/s or wtb forum. And you quoted the post directly above yours for no reason. AND this is posted in the wrong forum. Stop fagging this shit up.
