I got a smoking deal on a PowerFC boost kit, which I bought mostly for the 3 bar map sensor. It also came with the boost solenoid though, (same one as an AVCR) and I'm wondering if there is any way to control it with the 2jz power FC.
Basically I just need to know if there is a pre-existing wire I can tap into on the ECU (ie: oem boost control)
If not, I'll re-sell this solenoid and the sensor will have been free hehe.
Oh, another thing... for the map sensor; I assume I can plug it into the factory wiring harness since it's a denso? should be the same plug, haven,t checked yet. If not, I guess I ignore the stock wiring and connect it onto the side of the power FC.
Thanks for any help.
PFC boost control kit on a 2jz power FC?

Pin 60: PMC = VSV for wastegate valve ????
If not, can I just use the pins on the side of the ecu since I have a 5pin?

Just bumping this thread.
Ended up getting a 5pin harness and I'm trying to use that. It's in and wired up, but I can't seem to get it to work properly.
I will reach target boost on the PFC and then i'll hit boost/fuel cut instead of the WG opening.
I've tried plumbing it both ways (proper external WG, and as a internal) and both have the same problem. I've also tried with the sequential turbo option turned on/*off and it doesn't seem to make a difference.
halp?

Alright so I'm getting 12v to the solenoid, but its not really doing anything.
I noticed though that there is no boost controller on/off setting in my power FC.
I assumed it just controlled boost from the setting>boost menu but I guess you have to turn it on?
