Has anyone done this to their MKIII Supra diff? I need to know which one to buy. I called MC and they were very helpful but they weren't sure. I won't be able to measure mine for reference until I get the pinion pressed out of the housing.

Lots of 4x4 guys use them, so do a lot of Celica Supra guys running a lot of power on 7.5 inch diffs. It just eliminates one possible cause of diff failure. I had my pinion crush sleeve collapse. The pinion pulled in and hit the diff. I mostly attribute the failure to shock loading when shifting during a burnout (that's when it died). You go from spinning the wheels to the wheels gripping and spinning the tranny and back and forth a few times until the forces crush your pinion crush sleeve and grenade your diff. I don't think 8" diffs are quite as delicate, but I'm sure it would improve the longevity of your diff if you really beat on it a lot.

Toysport and 935 Motorsports suck. Don't buy from either.
