Ever since I sold my old x8 I have wanted to get another. So I ended up buying the black x8 off craigslist on Sunday.

specs:
1990
81040 miles
no sunroof
non ABS
Clean interior w/ custom black upholstery
duax duax 7m w/ standard BHG, rod knock, misfiring, and the worst detonation ever.


Plans for now include an x90 1j, new struts/s14 springs, 17s, and ice cold a/c.

Finally got a break from the rain so I took a quick pic.

i know i know....its WAY stupid to send warnings...but for me its a reminder about repeat offenders. i can look and instantly see dude was warned about whatever. they can be fully censored and have mod approval required for their post. they can be temp banned. they can be silenced. its really trivial bullshit but it gets annoying to see it time and time and time and time again. people just arent picking up what were throwin down. shoesandsocks has been here over a year. wtf? shit shouldnt still be happening.

im pretty fascinated by this project.. my "home" is back in az, in glendale.. i live in tokyo right now but im coming back home soon. im really curious where you source your shit from in the valley?? i havent been back to america in like over six years so im kind of clueless what's available locally in AZ if anything?? where are you planning on getting your 1j from and are you going to do the swap yourself or have a shop locally do it? and is it hard to find x8's in AZ these days??

i know some of these questions must be annoying but an AZ project car is always rad for me to see :D

There are a few guys here in AZ that can get motors/ etc, but most parts are from the interwebz. Cress's have been popping up a little more frequently lately.

they are vinyl. that's one of my favorite parts of the interior. Give's it a cleaner look.
