I am going to be making JZ mounts soon for my new X8 project.
I'm going to make a template off of the JZX81 mounts, and I would like to offer them to the forum members ONLY. The sets I have seen on eBay and other sites range from $150 - $270!! (JZX81/90) and most of them look like complete garbage OR are stupidly overpriced for what they are. Would be steel, identical to JZX81 mounts and possibly a second version to move the engine back an inch or more (whatever you prefer).
My question is:
If I could get them to $100or less, how many of you would be interested? I want to help you guys get into JZ land, and this seems to be one of those pain in the ass parts to get.
A portion of the proceeds would also go towards the hosting cost of the site and a batch of T-shirts (screens, ink, etc.).
I would prefer *not* to do a group buy, I would rather sell a pair as needed than make you wait for someone else to pony up.
Quality would be top notch, and I would offer them either raw or painted black.
Comments?

I'd buy a set for my x8.
I tune cars for a living. I am addicted to late 80's and early 90's cars. I need help.

Not to cut your balls off or anything but I was at my fabricators place yesterday and he got all the measurements off my jzx90 engine mounts and he is pretty done already.
he will be making them pretty much just like his set for the Ka24de. They will CNC cut 1/4" steel bent to shape to fit identicaly like jzx90 flipped on 1J or 2J they will also be slotted to accomadate aristo twins being able to slide back as far as jzx90's but slide forward to the jzx81/RIP garage location. It takes 8,000lbs to bend these in shape so no JZ will be able to tweek them. He will also be making solid and polyurethane bushings for the x8 as well.

most likely the same cost maybe a tad more. but it took us less than a day to get it measuresd and ready for a prototype.
when they are all done I'll let you guys know how they fit.

I guess I could, but when I was talking to brian about it he seemed confident that one style would be suitable for both early and late crossmembers.
really? i have an s1 and s2 xmember sitting side by side and the difference is immediately recognizable. seems like making something so people dont have to spend 2 hours laying on their back in a muddy junkyard trying to get some hard as shit to find POS jacked enough to pull the xmember from it would be a good thing...

^ agreed, right now i'm trying to make some custom mounts to get my 2j in but its just such a PITA, if you can make something for s1 xmember that would be awesome! cuz eventually we will run out of s2 xmembers.
