Hmm cool.

I guess the ball joint is offset so it would do that.

Pretty smart idear.

Yeah the goal was to reverse the castor and ackerman. Since some aussies are having good luck with it. So just on a whim I decided to swap the sides for the knuckles and a arms. knucks couldn't be swapped as the arm hits the brake rotor so I'll be proceeding to fab new steering knucks.

upon driving this morning steering feels much lighter as it should yet it still self returns very well. I'll update more when I get her on the alignment rack again.

There are also the C-One knuckles for the is300 that WILL work but they are $500+ for a simple piece of machined steel.

EDIT: wanted to add that when testing the amount of angle available in the steering with no tierods or wheels attached it seems the limiting factor will be the brake calipers touching the shock and mount. I'm hoping that jzx80 brakes will protrude less in the rear. And the added removed castor moves the wheel forward giving more room in the back for angle. find out things like this realy make me love the x90 suspension much more then the x8's

Yea, to be honest, I'll wait till I have some sort of knuckle setup before i mess with castor settings.

But this is a cool find.

after driving I realized this throws the bump steer way out of wack. I'll play around a little more when I get some outer tie rods.
