With lots of phone calls between numerous people including Mark (aphxero), the swap was completed in about a week while waiting for some parts from Driftmotion.
Btw, Aaron stocks a lot of parts i had ordered. They are a great go to guy for parts especially 1J and 2J stuff.
I started the teardown of this car last october and gradually began putting shit back together. Ive made numerous trips to Driftmotion to pick up parts to get my car up and running again.
The car is very basic. Suspension is Megan. I am also using Serial nine Diff bushings and subframe spacers. the diff is welded. Motor is stock.
Im waiting for fenders right now. once those come in, i will finish some body work and take it to paint. By the way, the front end will be a cresta. I picked up bumpers and the hood from RIP garage Leo for a good price so i couldnt pass it by.

The car had some rust spots around the front windshield so i took off the windshield, cracked it by accident, and yelled to myself.

While i had the motor out, i grabbed a can of black spray paint and painted the bay so it looks decent. in the sun, its looks like shit though.

Then i started on my interior while i waited for my motor to come.

I prepped the motor with new seals, new waterpump, and other shit. and in went the motor.

I still have some work to do before it sees the road. but it should come out nice for a piece of shit beater car. I dont expect to see this car in one piece for more than a year.
