Hello guys,

i'm 'Use' all the way from Brunei.
currently building up gx81 Toyota Cresta from scratch last year around june. bought the car in junk state from a guy who doesnt seems to appriciate the car potentials. The car had minor accident at the fronts,so i bought the car without fronts headlights(both),bumpers, dented bonets.

so bought the this front cut...jzs147 auto..

plan to do manual conversion to it..so i bought this from a fren of mine..its a w58

the work begins..

1g vs 2jz

i put in work meister 17x9+15 all round

finally engine drop in recently(jan10)

hoping to be on the road soon....and proudly to be a jzx family..smile.gif

Those wheels are gonna set the car off after its dumped. It feels good to save a car from getting junked doesn't it?

Beautiful. Did you paint it yourself? What kind of paint and methods were used? What are your plans for the car exterior, are you going to keep it stock, or go a different route? The world thanks you for recycling this wonderful piece of machinery. Those headlights look money.

use a normal car paint witha bit of flakes...
as for the exterior, gonna keep it stock as for now. wait till i got a bit of funds. gonna do arches, and a big win bodykit..

here's my engine pretty nice..hehe the space is really tight for the radiator..approximately 5 inches from the radiator supports. not sure the jzx81 radiator fits or not..this tight space with make me ditch the 3" koyo sad.gif

what does it takes if i was to change my hydro water pump to a conventional water pump?

I was worried that regular car paint would burn up with the heat of the engine, so I've never used it. Looks great though. Have you done this and has it worked for you? I painted my covers before, with crappy rust-oleum before and it peeled off. I will never do that again. Why big win and why not S9? I tried translating the big win page, it hurt my head. Will the S9 kit not fit on a Cresta? By arches you mean flared fenders right?

hopefully it doesnt peeled off..coz i ask them to do primer thingy so it wont easily came off..

wud love a s9 kit,but will cost a bomb on the freight..i can get a bigwin off from a supplier from Malaysia(our neighbouring country),and can save up a bit on the freight charges..but i wud love a s9 adjustable arm someday..i think s9 wil fit cresta but need a bit of modification on the rear bumper coz cresta got the license plate dwn there...yes arches means flared fenders to fit the 17x9+15...smile.gif
