Basically The ones I have are being redisigned for more lock and a cheaper price. . BUT they will come with outer tie rod ends.. so the price will still be slightly high..

I had engineered mine to mimic the stock angles and stuff.. Figured toyota knows their shit. . so dont fuck with it. . In practice however. . they made the total lock less than if I would've made them simpler. . ..

They will be awesome.. trust me. .

Sounds good, the guys in aus have tried n tested cut n shut knuckles and found that removing as much ackerman as possible is awesome for drifting really helping the car drive out of the corner with lots of lock.

Anyways looking foward to 2010 i need lots of gear smile.gif

Removing ackerman is ok but i tried 0 ackerman and that shit sucked. The car did not turn in unless i got on the brakes.

On a side note, you can check steering geometry with auto cad. it is pretty interesting.

Ya .. I removed some ackerman.. but not all... Its actually pretty crazy how much the additional OUTER wheel angle gives you in total angle. . It feels kinda weird at first as well when drifting. .
And for cars the see any sort of street use. . a little is still needed. . With my car at full lock making a normal person (non drifting) low speed u turn or some shit . . . esp with a welded.. all of the fuckin tires are screeching differently its hilarious.. Gas stations are usually where this happens. .

yeah people flip out when you are turning into the gas station at like 0mph and all the tires are screeching.

outer wheel angle is where it is all at. on a previous car, i had it set at 50deg outer and about 44 deg inner at full lock and that felt solid at full lock.
then i tried the same setup on a different car and it was wack. even with the same alignment and similar steering angle, front steer and rear steer makes a big difference.
