Well this is my car.. cant really call it a build thread since I cant do anything to it with the money I make... which makes me think if its even a smart idea to have the thing.
felt bad about saying some kinda mean things about others cars so heres a chance to say shit about mine
my car
Anyway here's the story
I searched for this car online after saving for two years. I didnt save alot and the car didnt cost much.
I checked yahoo auctions. Too expensive or was Automatic. Need Manual or I drive recklessly or fall asleep at the wheel... ect.
So got the car for ummm like 5k then spent 2k on shakken then spent 1.5k on new clutch.
as for things done so far.
Car came with:
wheels that werent as bad as stock
old faded Bride brix
blitz dual sbcc or something boost controller i cant figure out cause im stupid
the stock bov was modified and moved
it has either largus or cusco front and rear sway bars
HKS coilovers
car didnt come with the HID headlamps eventhough its a tourer V. was in an accident.. (was told minor but it wasnt obviously)
so i got my hids
got a turbo timer cause i cant afford to buy a turbo anytime soon.
new stearing wheel cause the sun ate the old one
turn signals cause the shop though putting orange bicycle refletors with light bulbs in them was cool or something
ohh and an exhaust from some shop near me cause my old hks was almost touching the ground.
So here are the pics
*edit something about dynamic pages
heres my blog
My car blog..... (me bitching)
car idle while GF sprays some chemical crap in the AC cause my car smells like old man
umm thats it... I guess ill post some more stuff. Been saving last 3 months for wheels.. Dont have money for shit.. so it takes a while anyway.
next time ill post pics here... just dont have a place to upload them

Update
Still poor. Just moved.. (T-T)
Anyway, i found upgarage finally had a kouki trunk and not just the tail lights. So i drove to... tokyo? crap dont even remeber just took a long ass time to get there. GF in the car yelling at me cause my navi is shit and gets us lost, oh well -('_')-. So i get there and find out the trunk is dark purple and not black.. meh thats cool no worries.
Took me about 3 hours to get the trunk on.. fucking heavy to lift by myself. Wasnt hard just that being broke i dont have access to many tools. the problem that had occured was that my trunk lock on the trunk was too high.. and the part that it need to lock onto the chassis was too low. After looking for many ways to solve this problem i spent 30min slowly drilling a new hole in the part on the chassis the lock locks onto. Sorry i dont know the name its late and i dont care.
pic

this part i dont have a pic of.
BTW the trunk thing was like a month ago..
Anyway, because my front bumper does not have the hmmm the word might be bumper support? to connect to, (its right under the headlights and make the bumper flush with the headlights and whatnot) when i hit my bumper it finally broke one of the plastic mounts on the headlights i had just bought. so i bought some at upgarage. $100 where as the ones i broke were $300 and these are in better condition.. WIN
so just need to get my lazy ass down to toyota and order the support then put the 3rd pair of head lamps on.. fun
after that.. maybe about july ill either buy a new kit... or wheels... (god i hope wheels but gf wont stop bitching about the bumper and the side skirts.)

Ok. everything back on the wordpress blog.
Just bought some new wheels off of Yahoo Auctions. Dude is a bit suspicious but lets see if I can get my wheels

9J+37 SLdisc
10J+11 SLdisc
Should be coming with tires.... but he says he wont give me the tires. Trying to squeeze more money out of me. So it will be
a month or too before i get fenders pulled and tires to mount. Then time to take them off and do Shaken (kinda like smog)
anyone have tire size suggestions? Im soo bad with tire sizes
Edit* They are 19's
This dude was in Speedhunters a while back. His car used to be white. The car is sold now, but has 19's as well. Pretty much the look im going for

An update after almost a year....... yay (
)
Anyway, FYI i got those Minerva wheels. They still aren't mounted or doing anything other than taking up space in an extra room in my apartment.
Last week I ended up finally going to the 1jz meeting. While there I checked out a few body kit companies who had sales for the day. Normally I'm saving what little money I have for day to day things, but after seeing all the sexy cars and how embarrassed I was of my own ugly POS, the GF Ok'ed me dropping some dough on a kit I've been in love with for a while. The normal price is about $1900 when converted to US currency. Because of the special meeting or people aren't buying our stuff anyway so lets pretend were giving them a discount, I only payed $1000 shipped to my door.
Needless to say as soon as it came I slapped it on the car. The rear however I was unable to put on because its a half spoiler. Why is it not a full bumper when the front is? No idea. I asked the dude the same day at the meeting and he kinda mumbled something off that was in-audible.
So here are some pics since no one likes to read.
*Edit forgot the info.... The kit is Traum Type II for MarkII
{anyone wanting more info, they keep changing their website. It's now "Real-dream.cc" FYI)
The big ass box it came in.
(the fucker from Sagawa (like ups or something) wouldnt try to bring the box in my house so he just left it outside and walked away like a dick.)

The Kit spread across my living room (I know small living room)

The kit on the car. (minus the rear) This showed me first hand the difference between highquality kits (new one) and shit ones (old one)
This thing fit soo fucking perfect. Matched up with all the body lines. Had to drill a few holes for the skirts, but everything else was great.

kind pic of sides (i love how my headlights dont look yellow on camera)

For building this like you are this is pretty sweet - It's too bad your laziness is getting in the way of you shipping parts. I'm sure everyone here would be your #1 customer. haha
Get tires for the wheels, get the kit painted, do a bunch of photo ops!

Wheels I would think would be one of the best things to get into exporting since they can fit so many different cars with a given bolt pattern.

I just deleted 5 somewhat useless and redundant posts of my own to keep this nice and on topic. As well as a written response to exporting stuff.
Simple version : It's not worth it to me. Time or money. There is nothing aside from rare wheels they no longer make that people might want to buy. This isnt Club4ag people here wont be putting some SSR MKII or Sakura rims (which about 3 companies make new now). If you need the export hook-up, get in touch with jesse streeter. He usually does stuff for people on many of these forums.
Face saving version: Not trying to be a dick, but I probably couldn't get stuff people want to them on time. At this time in my life, I am not reliable for this type of business. I work all day, and when I get home, I play until I sleep. I would love to be the guy to help people out here, but I don't like making promises I can't keep.
Aside from that, please feel free to comment on my car being shitty, hard parking being poor, peasant wheel fitment or whatever.
