So we started to build my friends x8 for him. He will be Going 7mgte power'd cause he is a firm beliver in that motor i cant talk him out of it but he is getting a good deal on the motor and everything he needs. This is just the start we will be getting the motor in sometime next week hopefully and getting it running for a future event we have coming up. Here is our progress so far and some pics of the car.

so we got the motor pulled today got it all cleaned up. The motor does have some gooding on it. Hks 5layer metal head gasket arp studs 550cc injectors and aem fuel regulater and filter lexus v8 maf. Here is the progress we made today.
this is before we cleaned the motor
then some after cleaning
Had to change it to front sump oil pan and pump had to grind the pump some so the rod wouldnt hit it during revolution
had to also bend the oil dipstick to fit the pan properly thing is gonna have to remark the stick to get the accurate reading again
gonna do some more tommorow like install the hydraulic line for the slave to the clutch
and get the engine bay cleaned up prep everything. Kinda had a accident at the end of the night thats gonna slow the motor dropping in gonna get it taken care of though.

so we got more progress today motor is in the car and got the drive shaft and everytthing bolted in including the hydraulic line for the clutch. pics of todays progress

also gonna be getting a tie rod for my car so i can drive it again although the suspension is shot....
