Basically, without G and Serial Nine, my car wouldn’t be half the car it is today.

More specifically though, G has helped me out a fuck-load in the short amount of time I’ve been driving and building an X chassis, both with advice, and totally SICK parts.

When I got my JZX81 Mark II, it came equipped with Tein HR Coilovers, and some basic bolt-ons. Nothing special. Coming from the AE86 I drove the previous season, with expensive-ass overkill coilovers and heim-joint everything, I was used to a car that responded to inputs immediately and precisely.

Stepping up to the JZX81, I was excited to drive something with good power again, but was pretty let down by how sloppy the car felt compared to past cars I’ve owned, even with the Tein coilovers it had. I was used to entering aggressively, with the gas pedal matted and throwing the car like I was trying to rip the steering wheel off the hub. The X felt waaaaay too soft and noncompliant for that kind of driving style, so I had to enter like a fucking pussy or else the car would do the opposite of what I wanted.

I couldn’t stand driving like a bitch, so I decided to do something about it. I gave G a call, and told him I needed more manly entry status. He said ‘np nga,’ and got me set up with some Serial Nine Stance GR+ Pro Race coilovers. I installed the coilovers a couple days later, and took the car out for a rip immediately.

The first thing I noticed, was what I didn’t notice: shitty streets. With how much more firm these coilovers are compared to the Teins, I was expecting to have to wear a fucking mouthguard driving the streets around my hood. It was exactly the opposite though. These dampers have a magical fucking vortex built into them that sucks up shitty road surfaces like a Cadillac! Shit is crazy!

I drove to one of my night-time funspots to see what these things felt like. It was like a lightning bolt hit the tip of my penis. The car felt so fucking dialled compared to the old setup, and I hadn’t even fucked with anything yet! I felt immediately more comfortable and confident in the car now, like I was driving my corolla again. After messing with the settings for a couple days and figuring out what I liked best, I decided to go try some higher speed stuff. JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS. I have never felt a car like this before. 140 km/h on a downhill sweeping freeway curve, e-brake action, just hangin it out. Ain’t no thang. So smooth and predictable, and SOOOO FUCKING DOPE.

I also figured I needed to do something about the plain ass aero I was rockin at the time, cuz my car looked straight 1998, so I picked up the Serial Nine Type I aero kit. All I have to say about this aero is, it’s some top quality shit, and the fitment is on par or better than any aero I have ever bought or installed before, even super high-end shit. I basically had to drill a couple holes for zipties and that was it. Oh, and also, it looks fucking rad:

However, transitions still felt like they could be made a little more crisp-feeling, especially in the back. So G hooked me up with some Serial Nine solid aluminum subframe bushings. I didn’t think it was possible to make a boat like this feel any tighter, but I was very wrong. The car feels even more predictable and smooth after installing them (which was super simple, they fit phenomenally well). The ass end feels more planted and responsive now, and I can have my car slammed while still getting a decent contact patch (even with stock arms. no -10 camber bullshit anymore!) , which is huge if you want your car to drift as good as it looks when its tuckin tire. If you drift an X8, you NEED THESE BUSHINGS! No questions.

After going through two sets of CT12A’s in quick succession, I decided to suck it up and just do a single turbo setup instead of wasting more time and money on another pair of shitty twins. The whole time while I was collecting parts and getting shit figured, if I ever had a technical question, G had my answer. If I needed a part overnighted so I could make an event the next day, G hooked my ass up. G is crazy passionate about the X chassis, and anyone who has dealt with him can vouch that this shows in the quality of his parts, and his commitment to customers.

My setup wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as it did without his guidance, and my car wouldn’t have been able to win me first place at the most recent drift event I went to if it wasn’t for his company’s hotboi status parts. I can't wait to tear pro-am a new asshole next season. SERIAL NINE IS THE FUCKING JAM.

Respeck.

Just installed S9 solid subframe and diff bushings on the jzx90.

I was VERY impressed with the quality of the items, how well they fit, and how much of a difference they made!
