My current car is a 1990 240sx hatch. The car is on its 3rd engine now, which is why im getting rid of it and getting a mans car. If you guys know anything about the vegas drift scene, 9 out of 10 cars are 240sx's. which is getting old. Not to mention everyone and their mom think that the answer to drifting is 240s and beater as fc's. I have been to every drift event for the most part for the last year or so since i started getting into drifting and since then ive seen maybe 2 four door cars. im ridding my 240 and in going to get a cressida and either put my old s14sr into it, or get a basic 1j setup, coils and welded diff if thats how you guys roll. im new to cressidas but so far i like what i see and want to get a little bit more help with my build seeing as how no one here in vegas that i know of has one. Plus its nearly impossibe to find any real useable info on doing any real upgrades to these cars until i found this site. Anyways, i just wantedd to start fresh with something unique, and absolutely sick as fuck. 4 doors and with a 1j or 2. I want to give 4 doors and good name and show people that they throw it down.
This is my hatch. its completely a p.o.s. but at least it has wheels i know you guys will like. im not going to post up pictures of my daily because its not worth walking outside to take a picture. its a mazda millenia. stock. cherry. lol I used to work in a hotrod shop in cali. now i just work on 240's. lol. I am the designated fabricator and diff welder for basically everyone i know. I have full access to basically any and all things for cars. i do cagework for trucks and 240s and ive literally welded everyones diff. that i can think of. from that picture you can see the kind of time and effort im putting into cars now. like fully seem welding, grinding and torching, then clearing for the alltime coolest engine bays and most rigidity possible. im looking forward to lapping up girls in the back seat and hitting up local events! wiether or not im eligible, i just wanted to say its funny as fuck that you guys do this to get people on the board. thats the way all forums should be.

Im new to these cars and am in the market for one right now with a good budget and was wonderring if s13 rear coils fit right up and what to do for the 5lug swap so i can use my rims. the mbs and the fn's. i saw that one badass one with z32's. do s13 knuckes bolt up or do you have to rock serial nine stuff?

hey man, im not going to sit here and act like i know shit about these cars. im picking up a cherry one here from a buddy of mine and its instantly getting to get ripped apart in hopes to be ready to drift by the end of the year. this is my sr. im puting it back together right now!!! its what broke earlier this year!!! fuck that ka b.s.!!! how can anyone say they dont want to see a s14sr with toda 256's brand spankin fresh rebuild, in a cressida? even if i dont put that motor in im dropping a 1j. so no matter what Im going to have a fast ass four door. btw, my interior in stripped with a homewelded steering wheel, a kevlar dash, and black s14 seats in black. basically all you need in a track car so that guy is trippin. how can you hate on linex kevlar?! thats not rhino liner b.s. thats professionally sprayed stab proof dash gangsterness.yeah. my wheels are sick as fuck. theyre going on my cressida asap. sick wheel fitments are sick on cressidas and hes going to say fail to someone whos going to step up their game? he fails!

im gonna get off my jzxp high horse and say pass. i respect most DIY'ers so i'm not going to descriminate even though the 240 isn't really ALL THAT or that there is only one pic of his welding/fabrication greatness.

i'm no self proclaimed fabrication god nor do i even weld.. period.. but if you're going to say you're the head fabricator and do cages and all, show it!!

Im not on the fn01rc hating bandwagon and in my opinion FN's + MB's are a fuck load better than stock. I mean shit, my spares are mustang wheels. Big deal!
This isnt a hardcore fashon show so you want a fuzzy shift boot? Cool. Grant wheel? Ok, but get a pad on that bolt before you die a retarded death. Rhino-liner dash? uh.. ok, fine. Just make sure you drive the fuck out of your car and it better be a lot lower than you S13.

That being said, you do ask questions that can be answered by lurking. S13 coils in the back of a cressida? With work. 5-lug swap? X8 comes 5-lug, X7 will look retarded with your wheels but yes it can be swapped. Look around for the answers before you ask. It will make people a lot less pissy.

Also, you dont have an X-chassis right now OR a JZ-motor. One or both of which are needed to be considered. Not just bullshit intentions.

Fail for now but get a cressida, do some work and I'd say easy pass. Especially with the car seeing action.

I wanna stab his dash to see if the "linex kevlar" is really stab proof. AFAIK bullet proof vests are not stab proof, unless they're specifically designed to be. I know a bunch of nissan guys, and with the exception of a few (Matt & Mats, and a couple others) they won't touch a non-bolt on mod with a ten foot pole, this makes the average 240 kid a bitch... OOOH you have an SR to put in your 240, big fucking deal. OOOH you have a fugly interior with deathfacesmash steering wheel, and OOOH, you have the same fuckin wheels as like 8929453 other 240 kids. And a bad attitude...

with clunker cressidas, that are broke and have no intentions with them whatsoever, no matter what they say, and say they like
