So as it sits today

Posted Image

New cage in a new , Straighter , Less rusty , Better in every way shell.

Tilton 600 series Pedal set mounted on a 1" slider and Tilton 3 chamber plastic reservoir

I dropped the column by a 1" and moved it to sit straighter to my new seating position.

Using my old interior as mock up

Here you can also see my champagne daily X7 the old 2010 - 2011 SERIALNINE X7 and part of the
SERIALNINE X7 Aero.

This is close to how the front will sit . Just much lower and deeper wheels and more camber. So nothing like this really lol These knuckles do not have the 3.5 degrees which is gay

Posted Image

Having the GOD OF FENDERS living down stairs is pretty help full sometimes, Times like when you get some huge wheels from work

Front 18 by 9.5 +14 front and 18 by 10.5 + 20 rear

Posted Image

But coming from a history of old corollas and RETARDED 15" wheels The 18"s just dont have enough of the barrel look to them that I hoped to have on this car :(

So let loose the GOD OF FENDER on your X7 and this is what happens

Fender starts like this

Posted Image

Then in 4 easy steps

Draw

Posted Image

Cut

Posted Image

Fold

Posted Image

Hammer

You end up with this

So thats how it sits as of today

The next things will be to get a clutch , 2JZ block and a Turbo

At first glance, I thought those were XXR 521s. Nice fenders!

Nice work. So... more info on the 8" diff? Which diff, and what kind of mounting work is involved? Any ideas on improving the junk shit axle stubs?

Radiused 1.25" as well as moving the (larger) flare up into the trim line but below the body line. They're also over 1"
Wider.

The fenders now look stock but fit an 18x10.5 -5 with a 235/40-18 and the
Car can be run much lower looking more balanced on the 18's (X7's can LOOK really slammed
But are still quite high off the ground. The car should be 1" lower this year, hence the radius.

X7 REALLY needs it as the rear fenders are soooooo low.

We will be radiusing and modifying the front next. So stay tuned.

diggin' the initial d reference. What's the plan of attack for the old body molding's? are you going to try and modify them to fit the new flare's? or are you just going to leave it as is or shave them?

Wow, for some reason the cage picture didn't show before. I LOVE the name plate at the bottom of the door bars. Such a cool fucking touch. Reminds me of the shop logo plates on old school impala verts.

Looking good guys. When I heard you say god of fender, I thought of one of Jackie Chans movies from the 80's Armour of God.
