While I was out of the country on vacation I made a decision the JZX90 is gonna be my drift car, I'm going to be trying to run in DMCC (drift mania canaidan championships) West this year.

So went to get the car uncovered the other day and start workin on it

<img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm110/shawley023/P1010679.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

<img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm110/shawley023/P1010680.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Have lots of tires for this year thanks to a local distribution center going out of business and clearing tires for CHEAP!
<img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm110/shawley023/P1010681.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Changed up the wheels for this year, Advan RG's 17x8.5 +24 in the front and +35 in the back, have a couple rear sets
<img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm110/shawley023/P1010684.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

<img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm110/shawley023/P1010687.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

So far just have the car stripped with the exception of the dash, and carpet, that will be coming out just before I take the car to Lethbridge for my cage
<img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm110/shawley023/P1010691.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Had to pull the tranny cus it was shifting all sloppy
<img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm110/shawley023/P1010700.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Turned out to be the shifter bushing in here, thank god I didn't need a new R154
<img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm110/shawley023/P1010697.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />
Have a new one on order from driftmotion
<img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm110/shawley023/P1010701.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Garage as of the other day
<img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm110/shawley023/P1010707.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Now I'm just waiting on parts to get here, my stance coilovers, bunch of stuff from driftmotion, diff bushings, probably gonna order some new ORC discs for my clutch, have to install my power fc and get it tuned. Also need to get my Kirkey seats in, have to get a buddie to fab up some brackets for them. Really just lots of little things that I need to do.

hey dont forget to scale your injectors for the setup before you start it.

Go into commander and change injectors %. In that box you have 100%=440cc.

Neat wheels too smile.gif

That x8 is classy. It'd be more classy if I had the interior. smile.gif Just kidding.

The 90 looks like its coming along nicely. Rob is doing your cage I assume?
Theres no point in having a plan

well got some more work done on it today,

got the shifter bushing/socket whatever in from driftmotion, and got the transmission put back in, (thank to my buddy Ryan)

Also got the dash pulled out, after a bit of figuring out how to get it all out, after pulling most of my stereo equipment out, including my rca's, gps antenna, and sat radio antenna.

Got the carpet pulled out aswell

Then started on the sound deadning, got most of it out tonight, going to need to go over it with a wire wheel

Also I traded the mark2 to my buddie (who is applying for jzxp) for this mk3 supra, just something different, don't be mad, i'm keeping the jzx90!

This is painful.

That MarkII is nice. Though I'm also someone that would much rather have that than the 90.

We worked out a good deal on the Mark2 and Supra trade, I'm probably selling the supra aswell, just easier to sell a LHD supra then a RHD Mark2 that no one up here knows of.

Well sold the supra nice and quick, didn't need it, or the mark2, just needed money and it was easier to sell a registered supra than a unregistered mark2

got everything all taken apart to do the water pump, and timing belt (part number from toyota 13568-49025 worked)

rewired all my coilpack clips

Put the new waterpump with out the hydro fan in, removed the A/C, have close to everything back together here

No leaks at all

And friday loaded it up onto the trailer, got my buddie to weld up some seat brackets (pics soon) for my Kirkey seat,

Towed the car down to Lethbridge today for a cage, should get it back in a week or 2 whenever i get back down there to pick it up

then get it all finnished up and started up when it's back here, and hopfully my coilovers will be here too
