The trick to having an overly popular car (S-chassys and 86s) with overly popular wheels (FNs, RPF1s, MBs) is to paint it all ridiculous.

You've done a splendid job, it actually looks good.

Jason, purple and safety orange is a winning combination.

Looks pretty awesome, but I dunno about the painted pillars. That's probably the only teal car I've seen that looks cool.

thanks for the nice comments for the non toyota dry.gif . I only drive it cause it's cheap and disposable.
The pillars are the only part I wasn't too sure about, but I have an extra set.
Here's another pic with the vinyl on.

I am painting the hood and cleaning the car up this week. I will have some good pics from the shoot by the weekend

Its a really cool look, but sad to say I think that more an more will start doing these outrageous colors, as more of a fad.
When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realised God doesn’t work that way, so I stole
one and prayed for forgiveness.

bla bla bla bla

its an s13

imo its disposable. theyre easy to get and easier to modify. around me, cressidas are not. "tuner" mechs dont know toyotas, and theres about 2 x7's on my local craigslist. since i started with cressidas in 2003 ive seen less and less and less on the road. i havent seen any on the road this year. in fact id say i probably havent seen any on the road in the past year....

That's the reason I drift a s chassis. Cheap and disposable. The most disposable rwd toyota seems to be the JZZ30 chassis. I am looking at building one of those when I do a legit build.

You're kidding right ? JZZ30 the cheapest. ?? How much do cressidas cost where you're from ??

All four of mine combined were still under a grand. . . not to mention plentiful, easy to work on, decent parts availablility and always in good shape.. .

They never come up around here in any kind of desirable condition. I can buy a mid 90s sc300 for 1k (not running). Plus I can actually get parts for that car.

yea g. sc300/400 are dime a dozen in the states. ive been thinking about one for a while. they have been gaining popularity, but theyre still relatively easy to come across and way more ready to rumble than a cressida. im affraid to put my cress on the track cause i know a mistake will be costly in both money and downtime.

Weird.. Cressidas here practically fall out of the sky over here. . and they're relatively rust free in BC. . SC's here are all JDM and like min $10k. .

They're all right but. . heavy. . overcomplicated.. coupe. . and whoo hoo you can buy 5 diff brands of coilovers and 4 decent looking kits for them. . arms everything are all the same availability for x8. . yanack makes parts for both chassis. . fuck man. . smash a door. . goodluck changing it. . they're like 200 lbs..

Diff strokes for diff folks right ? But wtf are doing discussing coupes LET ALONE S13's on this forum ?

Like no offence man. . But im pretty sure ther are plenty of nissan forums that you could post this on, and more than half the people on here (me included) are on those anyways..
