sticky thread for xe10 fitment.

since 99% of IS300 wheel fitment is weak it is hard to find decent fitment info around the web.. there is no excuse for anything less than 8.5j on an IS300.

stock is 17x7 +50.

in the front, it looks like 18" wheels provide more inside clearance due to the shape of the upright dogleg.

with an 18, front has about 6.1" of inside clearance, rear is about 6.9"

with a 17 up front it looks like there is a little less inside clearance, probably like 5.8" (a 5.7 fits fine / 17x9 +30)

updated due to broken pics:

17x9j +30 R33 GTR. 215/45 with B&G S3 coils

car drives awesome at this height. lower than this, the car bottoms the front upper control arms even with hard springrates.

!TEST FIT!
8.5/9.5 18 +30 low disk. 5mm spacer in rear. 215/225 40 feddys. Not much stretch as i figured. Think im gonna try some 215/35 feds in front or even 205 with 215 in the rear. More adjustments to come. No Roll yet.

How would 18x9.5 +20 Work XC8's fit on an XE10? (Considering 225/40 Kumho KU31's, but open to suggestions for better fit..)

Looks>performance: smaller width tire for better fit is ok.

That would be possible if you ran some wider front fenders. RiskyDevil AJ has fit some +12 18/9.5 kai's on the front with a 215/40 and he says he has custom front fender work. have not seen action shots with this setup.

the IS300 that belongs to one of our customers runs a 18x8.5 +22 and 18x9.5+22. front fender is a custom wide fender, and the rear is flared. he runs 255 and 275 and not as much camber as some, which explains the need for the fenders.
