take off the oil cap, then shit into the valvetrain. if you are like most 7m owners, the semen content will act as a sealant and prevent your hg from blowing for the next 100 miles or so. repeat as necessary.

Tbone, do you have any pics of that guys install for the overs?  Not that I think it will be difficult, and G gave me a bunch of tips...but visuals don't hurt.  Mine will be a little different as I'm thinking of making the overs not blended in but bondoing joe's tail in, going to require some modification, but hopefully have a nice result.

Fairly boring update, but got some welding done on the exhaust, figured I should get this sorted before bodywork and paint so I don't melt a fresh bumper.  My friend's friend who helped me out was a champ.  Super chill dude, and possibly the luckiest Toyota owner I've met.  He got a free R154 for his mkiv supra...this boggles my mind.  Fucking need to get my own welder asap so I don't need to haul my shit out to Lang-Hole (suburbs) when I need shit welded.

One more post nobody will care about before bodywork and paint:

Added a hanger and now the exhaust only dangles less than a cm (less than a 1/2 inch for all the 'muricans) below the framerail (couldn't tuck 100% without changing it more than I have time/patience for).  Also is dead fucking centre of the cutout in the s9 bumper which I am pretty happy with since I am a lazy fuck and do most measurements and prep very half-assedly.

Well, about to start my personal project for while the car is getting painted...

535924_10152833542874770_178254208319377

Needs trimming and then some sort of mount that needs fabbing...I don't think these had any lights behind them, but I'm thinking maybe getting some sort of LED lighting in behind there for shits since there is power source from the plate lights right there anyways. Any ideas on relocating the plate would be dope. I think I have a pretty good idea of how I'm going to do that but interested on anyone else's opinion.

Current plan is to drill two holes in the bumper then use these LED bolts with built in lights and have it lit and mounted(cuz cops in my area are gay and will give me another vehicle inspection notice if I don't light that shit).

10687110_10152833597154770_8395952197247

And yes, I am too lazy to step outside and take a pic of my own bumper...

So, this happened:
10502425_10152866002434770_6685391805537
Cutting old ass nissan garbage plastic imported from japan...my buddy's dad hopped in to show the younger generation a thing or two.
10556454_10152866002559770_4498112239353
Need to replace a lightbulb in the left tail...
10171655_10152866002619770_7929067601954
Epoxied the fuck out of this shit...
10363570_10152866002684770_7253843000479
Derping around with wiring and some wire strippers older than my buddy and I.
10394131_10152866002894770_5420131306331
Anyway, Haven't seen it in daylight, but I think I want to source either early model tails or just tint that shit till it matches up a little better...oh and the guy painting it finished building his paint booth, so that shit should be happening soon too....

Packed shit up to send off for bodywork and paint...

10915228_10153011239104770_4181713088902

Starting on overfender install...I am "helping" with some of this bodywork shit, not that Mitch (guy who is painting) needs it, but I figure if I pick up some knowledge that is always a good thing. Didn't take any more pics, because I'm a lazy fuck and frankly none of you even care.

This is still cool. Wish you didnt have to run a plate. Back end smooth looks sweet. Plate bolted to bumper is gonna look stupid though. Tail lights definately need to be led and go through that center section too. Would look sick. Im sure fancy logic in tx could hook it up. He does great work.

I dont really mind the plate personally...I'd rather no plate, but this isn't terrible.  Still need to tint the rear so it all matches up and doesn't look as ghetto...

Don't forget to cut the inner rear door and hammer it out to meet the rear fenders. Just did mine about a week ago. A shit ton more work then a coupe over fender.

I like the way the center light turned out. I'd want to do it because it cleans up the back end but then having to put the plate in a worse location takes away from how clean the rear looked. Maybe just put the plate in the rear window?

Interesting thought, my rear window defroster doesn't work, I guess I could try and fix it...I'll add it to the list of shit to do after paint.
