Yea that was Jon not me. I definitely just threw in a w58 I had lying around because I'm lazy and have no power aspirations for my 100.

once you go CD009 you never go back

My friend that lives in US showed me CraigsList while we search for my Cressida. You find lots of odd things on that site. Lots of fat US girls looking for a free ride from black basketball type American man.

Cost me a hell of a lot less than that. Pretty much the only reason I went cd. Still convinced I would have had to hunt pretty hard to do an r154 for much less and fuck the w58.

Well, here's more pics to give people a better idea of what I'm up against.

Here, both the input shafts are lined up

As pretty much everyone else has confirmed already, look at the height difference of these things

QiLMOJBl.jpg

People on other forums with SC300/SC400's have the same A340/A341 or whatever auto tranny variant that the cressidas have and they all have had to chop the fuck out of their tunnel as well.

Like Ricky said, all I will need is a cutting wheel and my tears to keep the steel dust from my pretty stock interior under control :(

Also did some more piddley crap this afternoon.

Ditched the stock oil cooling system in preparation for a thermostat controlled sandwich plate and air-cooled system

AMnMSRLl.jpg

Bypassed both my throttle body coolant system and my power progressive rack vacuum assist line thing. For those wondering, connecting the vacuum lines instead of blocking them off apparently keeps a smoother idle.

Also, the lines in the pic below are not kinked or mushed.  They are a little ugly from this angle, but they make for a pretty tucked look from the front.

Put some new hoses on here and there which helped clean up the intake side of things.

I would have been able to finish putting everything else on the motor back together today, but I missed the mailman who had all my parts. I will have to wait for this weekend.

Alright, put most of the mechanical parts of the motor back together.

Fluidampr unit along with the Powerhouse Racing pulleys:

New timing belt and serpentine belt installed.

Put in an IS300 power steering pump and Xcessive pump brace, which allows me to eliminate the power progressive setup from the Aristo:

And all buttoned up:

Mocked up the mounts:

Gonna pretend I didn't just read that lol.

Looked through your build thread.  I've lived in Kirkland my whole life, small world.  I recognize the location of a ton of your photos.  I only relocated to the slums of Everett within the past few years to get closer to work.

haha my thread should be title pictures of my car on flatbeds around the east side.  I've only been in WA for a little over 3 years but so far I love it.  Hoping to stay in Kirkland as long as possible lol Do you work for boeing?

Not going to confirm or deny where I work, but it's possible.

Kirkland is nice, so many fine females running around during the summer at all the beaches.  It's a good place to cruise the strip too. People show off their cars in downtown pretty heavily during the summer.

People used to cruise that strip so much, the city passed what my buddies and I call an "anti-pimping ordinance".  Now they say you can only go up and down the strip once or twice in an hour or something.

If you live in downtown Kirkland, I'm jealous.  It's expensive as fuck since all the Microsoft people creep over from Redmond and Bellevue.
