OK so I was talking with Mark about this a few nights ago, but I figure I'd ask here too. JZX100/LS400/GS400 uses a 3" MAFS (22250-50060) and JZA80 uses 3.25" of the same type (22250-46030). I found a local Supra version for $75 so I decided to get it instead.

I am kinda new with MAFS, so can I use a SAFC (first version) to correct for the larger MAFS or do I even need to worry about it?

Yes, you can use the S-AFC to correct the difference.

Always tune by the readings from a good A/F meter.
('good' does not include anything that just reads 'rich' to 'lean')
Something that shows actual a/f ratio numbers,
like a TOMEI, or a GReddy like I have listed on eRip.

Any car with the VVTi 1UZ between 95-98 used the 22250-50060 MAFS

Same with the 96-2000 JZX100 VVTi 1JZ

94-98 Supra used a 99% identical MAFS. Its exactly the same dimensions and plug type. The only difference I see and maybe the reason for the P/N difference is the cross hairs on the intake of the "mafs torpedo" as I call it.

1UZ/1JZ has them, 2JZ doesn't.

It will work.

Anyone got the actual pinout of the MAF sensor?

Left to Right - Female plug is facing you

1. Black/Red  - POWER

2. Green/Black - VG - Airflow ouput

3. Red/White - THA - Temp output

4. Brown - Common Sensor ground

5. Light Green - EVG - Airflow Ground

Looking at this picture the wires would be reversed if we went also left to right:

5. Black/Red  - POWER

4. Green/Black - VG - Airflow ouput

3. Red/White - THA - Temp output

2. Brown - Common Sensor ground

1. Light Green - EVG - Airflow Ground
