front is gonna fit weak. my front is 17x9.5+15 245/40/17 and rubs on big bumps in the road. 225 or 235 should be good. your inner fitment will be 9mm closer to the strut than i am, and i am CLOSE. 10mm spacer should fix both points.

definatly get no more than a 235 for the rear. my rear is 18x9.5+23 245/40/18 and rubs tons with my lowness. flatten the inner fender lip and you should clear just fine.

that is not an aggressive fitment at all. you can do better than that!

I don't have pictures, but I fit...

18x8.5 +30-something
18x9.5 +40-something

Weak offset but...

The rear tires were 265/35/18.

Got two sets of 245/45/18 with 99% tread might as well use them . As for offsets I am not worried I have a fucking drawer full of spacers I am sure I will get proper fitment might have to get extened studs though. I like my lips flush with the wheel well not sticking out rather run more rubber if I can.

Got the wheels on today and the de 4x4 the front got some bald ass 245,40 18s in the rear on and some 225/40/18s on the front got some serious issues with rubbing though I gotta check out tomorrow fronts perfect fitment rear could use a 235/40/ 18 and a bit of a pull and a 10mm spacer sould be even with the front fitment then. Gotta fit my rear toe a bit with those wheels on fuck rear toes fucked one wheels toed in hard the others toed out hard no idea wtf this guy was thinking in Japan.

Took about 10min to fix it today fucking camber plate got knocked to positive on one side so I set them both to full negitive. Just have to bend the lip back in on the passengers side and then I can get a wheel alinement. 245/40r18s fit fine in the back are not rubbing even with the fucked toe. I think I might pull the rear a bit and thow in a 10mm spacer later on. I will post some pics up after I wash the car.

rayray:

i have wheels with the same specs as a set you were running and i have some clearance questions before i mount them while i have a fender roller borrowed.

specs are 17x8, 9 staggered, +30 front +29 rears. you were running 235's on the rear and 215's in the front... would i be okay running 225/245's rolling the lips flat on stock camber? how close were you to rubbing when you had this setup?

thanks

While reading and looking at all these beautiful wheels, I didn't get a exact answer I needed. I'm looking at 17" wheels maybe a 9" and 9.5" but can't figure what back spacing to go with. I will be pulling, hammering, and rolling the fenders, and don't want to run spacers also will be lowered with Megan racing coilovers. Can any of u point me in the right way. Wheels I am looking at 5 Zigen, Volk CE28N, or some CCW, these will cost some money so I will save.
